Whether you’re just beginning to learn about CBD or consider it as a natural alternative option, or have been interested in it for a while now, you may have some questions about what it is, how it’s made, and what benefits it can offer. Take a moment to read through some of the most commonly asked questions regarding CBD.

What is CBD? +

CBD (cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring compound that is found in and can be extracted from both marijuana and hemp plants. However, hemp does not contain any of the psychoactive properties (THC) that people commonly associate with the marijuana plant. So when CBD is derived from the hemp plant, it won’t cause a high or produce any psychoactive effects. However, CBD has been shown to offer some incredible benefits. You can find it most commonly as an oil-based product, but it’s also been used in a number of supplements and beauty products.

What is CBD-Infused oil? +

When someone says that their product is “CBD Infused,” they are either referring to an oil that has been infused with purified CBD isolate or a full or broad spectrum concentrate. Depending on the types of benefits or relief you’re seeking, it’s important to note the difference so that you can choose a product that is best qualified to meet your needs

What does "THC- Free" mean? +

THC-Free means that our product has been tested and found to contain no traces of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive ingredient found within marijuana. However, just because a CBD product claims to be THC-Free doesn’t automatically mean that it is. There are some products on the market that have been found to still contain some level of THC.

What is Broad-Spectrum CBD oil? +

This type of CBD oil contains concentration levels of cannabinoids and terpenes while also ensuring that all trace amounts of THC have been removed. This is not to be confused with full-spectrum CBD oil that remains in its raw state and doesn’t go through a THC extraction process. While the amount of THC that is naturally found in hemp is minute (less than 0.3%), if you’re looking for a product that is 100% THC-free, turning to a broad-spectrum CBD oil is important.

Does CBD oil get you high? +

No. Our CBD is extracted from hemp and undergoes an extra process to ensure there is no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This psychoactive compound, THC, is what creates the “high” feeling within an individual and because we extract our CBD from hemp and undergo an extra step to ensure that all THC is extracted, we remove any chance of getting high.

What are the benefits of CBD in topical products? +

Many individuals have found benefits in using topical CBD products. This includes pain relief, assistance with anxiety and depression, alleviation of cancer-related symptoms, improved skin complexion, insomnia, epilepsy, and muscle spasms, just to name a few. This is by no means a comprehensive list, nor has every individual experienced the same benefits or levels of relief.

Why do we use naturally denatured alcohol in our products? +

Denatured alcohol is ethanol that has additives and chemicals to discourage its recreational consumption.

We are fervent in limiting the use of unnecessary chemicals in our products. That's why we use 85% naturally denatured alcohol. It is processed with only natural ingredients while still being effective at killing viruses without the risk of putting harmful chemicals into your skin.
